Founded by Frederick N. Burt, F.N. Burt Company’s products entered millions of homes each year, yet F.N. Burt was never a household name yet.
F.N. Burt made set-up boxes and folding cartons for a wide range of products. From attractive jewelry boxes for Avon Products to elegant holiday gift packages for Seagram’s liquors, F.N. Burt was a pioneer in custom packaging. For years, they were even the leading manufacturer of boxes for cigarettes. This location is on the National Register of Historic Places, paying tribute to F.N. Burt and all of his accomplishments.
