What is Brownfield Development?

Brownfield development is the adaptive reuse of a property with the added complexity of remediating and removing any environmental challenges that may exist.

From initial assessment, through remediation, to final site clean up, Frontier provides turnkey development leadership and prepares the property for future use.

Therefore, our main objective when we start one of our many development projects is to transform the property back into the economic engine it once was considered.

These sites have included evaluating and obtaining closures for releases from storage tanks, solvents, polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs), hazardous materials, and heavy metals, among various other contaminants.
